Re: Aedan's home: Aedan/Marta
[The sound of footsteps on the driveway caught his attention between bouts of cursing, but they weren't the lackadaisical ones of someone out exploring. They knew where they were going, right up his creaking stairs to the porch, only to knock on the door.] It's open!
[It wasn't quite gracious though, and he started to cross the room to open the door himself and welcome his guest inside. Guest was polite, donor might have been more accurate, but as she was visiting him in his home, and thus guest was appropriate. Tugging the door open with a slight creak of the hinges, his eyebrow perked up at the young woman standing there. Pale. No color on her cheeks. And that smile looked painful.] Darling. [A slight slur on the a, enough to soften it as he cocked one hip out and regarded her evenly.] You're as pale as I am, and I haven't seen the sun in centuries. [Was it a joke? Possibly, with the faint curl of his lips.] Come in. Are you warm enough? I can possibly start a fire. [She smelled -- good, but watered down. Young though and relatively healthy.]
