Log: Melody & Naila
She still hadn't been able to decipher the words that Naila had said to her the other day, and that inability was starting to truly gnaw at her. Information was one of those things that she nearly had the mastery of; something like this shouldn't have been able to thwart her. But there it was, teasing her even as the knock of the door came and Melody turned in her desk chair towards the door.
The voice was easily recognizable, and she was up on her feet in only a moment, striding over to pull the door open. "I was beginning to wonder if you had forgotten about me," she joked, an easy smile on her face. She was rather relaxed, hair pulled back, sweatshirt and leggings even in the warm summer months.
"Come on in. I was just trying to figure out the meaning of those words from the other day. It's not a simple translation, and I'm worried about being wrong." She grinned, then plopped back down in her chair, legs pulled up to fold in front of her. "So. What brings you by?"
