Re: second city: eddie/steph
[Small town life wasn't for her either. She was realizing this more and more every day. It was charming and nice, but Stephanie always loved a challenge. It was the reason why she could never stay away from any of this. Being a Shadow, getting into trouble with Eddie, all of it. It was her life's blood. She loved every second of this life, and she was kind of sick of denying herself it for some semblance of normalcy. What was normal anyway?] Maybe we're the normal ones and all those people [She waved up.] are actually the ones that are wrong. [She shrugged, and she wasn't going to try to pretend anymore.]
I'll try it. [She smiled, and she sounded genuine.] I love you, and of course I'll try it. And I kinda have a feeling I'll love it, too. [Her hand slipped easily into his, and she allowed him to lead her.] You'll let me know if you're ever in trouble with them, right? [Stephanie trusted him, but she knew how easy it was to be swallowed by powers when you were overwhelmed. A squeeze of his fingers.] You'll be fine. But you know I worry.
[They stopped at a storefront with The Memory Den over it. Neon sign and dirty faded letters. Steph's eyes widened, but her interest waned when he explained what the place did.] Uhhhh, yeah no. I'll pass on that, too. At least for now. [Inhale. Ding.] Unless you can choose which memories you can relive.
