Re: second city: eddie/steph
It's okay to try and be normal. I think we all deserved a shot at it. But, none of us could manage it. Cat doesn't even want anything to do with her bar anymore. We're all trying to find how our real-self fits in this world. [Eddie shrugged, letting himself admit finally that small town life wasn't for him. It didn't matter how strange it was, he wasn't fit for how someone was supposed to live there. Here, he was surrounded by flaws. By people who were doing their best even if that involved getting their hands dirty. The families and kids that were here didn't ask to live under the surface of the Capital, so why not make it a little easier for them?
He turned to Stephanie.] This isn't a place you have to stay forever or at all. If you want to stay in Repose, I'll go to you. You know if you need me there, I'll go. [Eddie had proven that he'd come running to her if she needed him. Even if his life wasn't doing so great.] But, I'd love to have you here. I think they'd love yo, too.
[He nodded.] I have my powers back. It's not exactly the most stable set of abilities, but I'm alive. And, this is a good advantage to have. No one else can raise the dead, no one else can talk to spirits.
[Eddie tugged her hand so she'd follow him down the street.] This place would be a total tourist trap if people weren't afraid of being stabbed. Here, look. [He stopped in front of The Memory Den.] This is the bread and butter of Karma's Bite. You can relive your own memories, as vividly as they happened. I personally won't go in there, but it makes good, good money.
