Re: second city: eddie/steph
[Stephanie inhaled, the smell of grease and stagnant water a little overwhelming at the first hit. She didn't think about this place as a home immediately, but she was reminded of those underground places back in Jersey. She was reminded of green goop, and of rickety towers that skyrocketed over the city, and of all the things that she'd come to know since she and Eddie became...well, she and Eddie. She wasn't freaked out by this place, not completely. What little sense of fear or trepidation she had melted away while she was in his arms anyway. Eddie might manage to jump her out of her skin, but no one calmed her or made her feel secure the way he did.]
You're always the kind of man I deserve. Always. [But she knew that words didn't always work, and she vowed to show him through whatever means necessary that she loved him and needed him desperately. He stole the kiss, and then another, and a noise rumbled in her throat. Her hands, now pressed against his chest, twisted into the fabric of his shirt. Blues looked up into browns, and she nodded.] Of course. Of course I will. Always, baby. [And then she reached up to kiss him again as if to seal that promise.]
