Re: Log: Abe & Sasha vacay
Abe was in a dream. He was under water, surrounded by glittering people who swam gracefully next to him. He sank further down, down to the bottom of the sea under a bubble where the elites of the world could waltz, create and exist without those filthy barnacles. Abe saw himself at the top of the stairs, wearing a beautiful black suit, smiling and ushering people into the dance hall.
And then he saw what needed to be done for this to be accomplished. They must drown the world. The monster wasn't here to eat him, he wasn't the new God, Abe was. He could summon the waves, he could flood the earth of this filthy land and take his place on the golden throne. He felt the feeling of glory that his father had instilled in him. The sense of duty. The ability to pull that blue pearl out of the darkness.
But, then Abe remembered old man Winters. He remembered Sasha and as he opened his eyes he saw a bright flare go whizzing towards the monster. He turned to look down and saw her there, knife barred, crazed look on her face. He smiled and gave her a little wave from his tied up position.
Weird, I didn't see you on the guest list. He quipped inside of her mind. His voice still weak, but not without that Abe optimism.
The monster in front of them roared from pain, taking a swipe at Abe. It was too off-kilter to get more than a quick swipe at Abe, but it was enough to make the blue fish bleed. She could feel the pain in his brain, she could feel him try to ignore it.
