Re: Wainright Manor: Con T & Manor people
Damian often followed others too closely and he was not much better at determining the socially appropriate distances, especially in America. Americans had a tendency, however, of having very large "personal bubbles." He knew that much. Either way, he did not mind how closely he was tailed because he did not know he ought. He walked through the large manor, through various rooms, toward the black and white kitchen. "I enjoy them both, or I would not have made them," was the answer given. Damian's tone was nearly always flat, not quite atonal, and his voice was deep, especially given his size and wiry stature. He spoke with something best described as a slight slur, like words caught in the net between his teeth. It was not an accent, precisely, but it was unique.—When they came into the large, bright kitchen (though it was not as overwrought as the rest of the manor, as it was meant for servants), Damian diverted to the counter where large pitchers sat. He waited for Con to make his decision.
