Re: [in-person: damian & misha]
[Misha, he grinned.] Kentucky's where all angels come from, Dami. Y'all come down yonder to the hollow. But you best wear a coat, on account of it might be airsish some out, and it's gaum some, so don't you go expecting it to be real tidy, and could be scald things lying 'bout. [He leaned forward as Damian tugged on his sock, and he kissed the boy again, that smile lingering real prominent as he drew back and Damian asked after 'folks.'] I ain't sure. I reckon I'm just made trusting. [He fussed with blue sleeve where it covered Damian's hand, and he listened 'bout the League.] Do you reckon they'll leave you be now he's gone? Your daddy, if that's who they were after? [He laughed some.] I wasn't much of a hollerer, which might come as some surprise. [But it probably wouldn't. Misha, he was real quiet and affectionate small.]
I'll try talking to them. [It wasn't any promise that it would go well, since Misha was starting to understand real clear that Damian's kin were complicated as folks could be. But, after how hurt Damian had been by all this happening, Misha reckoned it was the least he could do. He wanted to help some, and he did hate feeling real useless when Damian was aching. And Jason, he was bypassed as a topic when Damian got himself all petulant 'bout sleeping.] If we ain't going to bed, then what is it we got planned after eating? [But, back on to worrying, and Misha shook his head some.] You worry a whole lot. I reckoned if I learned how to punch folks you'd worry less. Jason, he was just trying help some.
