Re: [PJ's place: Sam & PJ]
[PJ didn't really have to sneak, but since she didn't really want to explain she snuck anyway. And by sneaking, she really just waited until everyone was otherwise occupied to walk out the front door of the Carriage House.
She'd never been much of a makeover girl. Sure, lipsticks and nail polishes were her jam, but that - oddly - came from her love of painting cars. But real makeover stuff? Not a clue. And she'd never dyed her hair in her life.
She'd never done anything special to her hair. It was long, thick, and brown. And had been for as long as she could remember. The best she did was braided pigtails on work days. But that was more out of safety than anything else.
But she wanted to look different. She had her reasons, and while they were weird, there was nothing about this place that wasn't weird. So she figured hair dye was a good, and harmless, first start. It was better than getting her nose done.
She hadn't been in her apartment since she went to stay at the Carriage House. Half because she was afraid she'd be inclined to want to stay, not because the Carriage House was bad. The Carriage House was great, but sometimes her brain worked against her. But that wasn't happening now. Nope. Not at all.
She looked around the place, and opened the windows to air it out a little before Sam got there. She was having a cold coke from the pop machine downstairs when she heard the knock.] Yeah it's open, come in.
