[The barn: Raven and Atticus] Who: Raven & Atticus What: Fully human meeting Where: The barn When: After the full moon, after the memories Warnings/Rating: Some nudity to start.
With a great deal of pain and sad little noises on her part, she'd been moved into a barn. She'd done her best to pay close attention to what was being said to her, and past the throbbing of her wing she was able to determine that it had something to do with heat. That being outside in the barn would actually be warmer than staying in the carriage house. She didn't have what was needed to try to fight anything or question anything, so she quieted herself the best she could and allowed herself to be carried and relocated.
The scent of hay held familiarity for her, and the smell of it helped to calm her a bit more. There wasn't anything quite as solid as a memory to tell her why it was calming, but she could at least identify it as something that had been true for a very long time. She watched human hands form the hay into a little nest and then build it into something even more comfortable by lining it with the same soft red blanket from the couch inside. Then, all she'd needed to do was to settle into it again and rest. And it was a very good rest. It was a place and a feeling that she could easily grow accustomed to.
And sometime in the night, or in the very early morning, she was suddenly too large for the nest (and for the sock that had been wrapped around her, though that at least was discarded by whatever controlled her changes). She was half asleep and half aware, only enough to realize that her arm ached and she was growing cold. It took moving slowly in order to not jostle herself, but she was able to seek out the source of warmth nearby, pulling the blanket with her and wrapping it around herself. She kept her bad arm folded as best she could against her body, trying to hold it steady. That done, she pressed against the heat source with a sigh and drifted back off into sleep again.
