Re: [UFO Tourism: Connie & Dahlia]
The snapped selfies got a shit-eating grin and a thumbs up followed by a "cute" expression and a peace sign held right at her cheek. Connie didn't take Dahl for much of a picture taking person, but she didn't want to ask about it because it might scare her into stopping. Pictures were good, in fact Connie felt like she didn't take enough herself. How many missed moments were there over the past ten years?
"Holy crap I'm almost 30." Yeah, that thought came out of nowhere, but the big three-oh tended to do that. She was lost thinking about all the memories her and Pat had over the years that didn't get documented because they were too busy trying to keep the boat afloat. The only family picture that came to mind was one from years and years ago of her holding baby Patrick, mom standing in the back with her blonde hair and dad looking like he wished he was somewhere else. The worst part? The picture didn't even have mom's face focused. Again, no proof she even existed.
"I can't be mad at Patrick." Connie said, shaking off the looming 30. "He's my little brother. I raised him. I would pretty much die for him. I can't be mad! But, I don't think anyone understands I have a hard time with most people." She held her hands out, shaking her head. "It's like how you blow up at people sometimes, except the inverse of that. I implode."
