Re: In-person: Misha B/Damian W
[Misha shook his head, but it wasn't a rushed or frenetic movement. It was just a negation offered slow and accepting.] What you're saying is the right thing. You know your kin better than I do, and I won't help anything if you're fussed 'bout my interacting with her.
[Damian took to being surly and knuckling at his eyes, and Misha just wanted to take him up in his arms and quit this difficult talking. He hadn't never felt something strong as his desire to spare the other boy the conversing.] I know, Dami. I quiet. I reckon everything does, but I do too. [He didn't hesitate answering, though something pained on his face said this was too many steps away from humanity for the boy that had just come on back to term with wings a few days earlier.] I can, but I got to reach for my Grace and it's to do like what I did to you, to understand what's needed. It don't just happen random. I won't climb myself into your head. [Then, steady.] I said it wasn't 'bout rathering. I ain't saying you'd rather me or it. I know it ain't like that. You ain't listening to me.
[And, he knew that talking 'bout his own things was important, and he looked on down when Damian touched his knees, but it wasn't the most important thing in the moment, and Misha shook his head and tugged on Damian's sleeves, trying to get the boy closer somehow.] We can talk 'bout that later. We're talking 'bout you now.
