Re: [University: Damian & Misha]
[Misha, he had his own teachings 'bout religious works, and he wouldn't talk ill 'bout any of them. He didn't share his views on organized religion a whole lot, not now that he reckoned all them lessons he'd received could be true, assuming this all wasn't a real elaborate delusion. But, Misha, he didn't think he could invent something intricate as Damian was, and that lent credence to all this being factual truth and not meanderings of his own mind.] I think love can change folks, but that ain't the same thing you're asking. I reckon you're asking if, like in the movies and the books, a bad person can change to good on account of loving the right person. [He really did want to kiss the other boy real thorough.] We all got good and bad in us, and we all got the potential for either. Could be loving the right person just helps bring out the good, 'stead of the bad. [His smile turned real knowing, superior even, like Damian didn't know a thing 'bout this particular subject:] You ain't selfish. I don't care a fig what they said. But I don't want to be different than I am, if that's what you're asking me.
[He looked over what he was wearing, and he looked over what Damian was wearing.] It's early 'nough they won't laugh us out of the bar for not wearing our leather. [But the boy was teasing, and his smile said as much.] Just expect hitting on. You're real handsome, and men in gay bars aren't real worried 'bout propositioning, even if folks are accompanied. Men are more directly competitive than womenfolk. And older men, they like younger boys.
[Having handed the phone back, he watched as Damian looked at the two choices. And he let Damian lace fingers with his real willing. He leaned close, watching the screen, and he only drew back a smidgen once Damian lifted his chin and turned the screen.] You picking that on account of thinking it looks more like something I'd like? [He smiled, and that smile was smug and real pleased with itself.] Because that's real selfless, Plum. [Point made, he pointed at the phone with their joined hands.] Just you email and rent it then. [It wasn't real planned or thought out, but Misha didn't know any reason why you couldn't rent a thing based on photos on the internet.]
