Bruce's gray eyes narrowed further steel, and the glint was gone. She sounded very much like Cat, of course, and Bruce wasn't sure if voice, mannerism or memory was included in Louis' unwilling bag of tricks. He had assumed so, just to be on the safe side. It didn't help that Cat had just informed him she was coming to visit, so he had a question in his mind about whether he simply desired to see her, or if Louis had found some old self lurking under his consciousness.
"That's what he can do, turn into people, seduce with illusion." Bruce was not ruling it out, either. "Cat doesn't look like that," he said, without any apparent anger or emotion attached. It took some shifting and excessive care, but he leaned forward and snagged the top of her burger bag with the hook of one finger. He dragged it nearer to see what was inside it, somewhat mollified to see and smell that it was real.
