Re: Capital: Holly + Gwen
Gwen wasn't sure she was going to swing out over the city again, but right now all indications were that she would. She might not spend as much time out here as she did in the lab, but it totally made her feel good, and she figured singular good deeds were super okay in her book. She wasn't looking to take down major kingpins, and helping old ladies cross the road was totally okay with her. And the unmasking was totally not a concern. She could sense the movements the girl in front of her was going to make before she made them, and she could totally sense danger, and there was no way her little accomplice would get to the mask in time.
"You can make yourself a pink suit. I won't sue for copyright infringement," our Spider promised, and she crossed her heart with gloved fingers. "The more the merrier" But it was all teasing, because Gwen didn't think this critical girl was going to save anyone (which totally wasn't a bad thing).
The girl was back on her feet now, and Gwen crouched at the edge of the roof and looked for the meeting the men had indicated was happening here. Ah hah! Top floor of the building adjacent to where they'd landed. "I have one last stop for the night. Do you want me to put you on the ground?" she asked, turning hooded and masked head to look at the girl through super advanced goggle-spider-eyes. But she didn't wait for the girl to respond. She scooped her up, and she swung her down and over two buildings. She didn't put the girl down until she found a functional streetlight to set her down beneath.
