Re: Capital: Holly + Gwen
It was entirely possible? There were heroes who dressed up in hot pink and it was kind of a costuming trend that Holly's backing. But her range of superhero trivia knowledge was slim, she didn't know exactly where this caped crusader came from (it wasn't Jersey) and she wasn't planning on cashing in what she did know. Okay, so white was confident. White stood out. Which kind of attracted attention to exactly where white caped crusaders were intervening. Also the smug thing so needed work.
"You're going to want to rethink this whole costume thing after Labor Day," Holly said, defiant dimple and grin and fuck the horse. "Maybe transition to something in the pink category." She hadn't been concerned about the caped crusader tossing her cookies. If you dangled upside down, she was kind of counting on you knowing how to hold it in. It was Holly's that were front and center concern but she had an address to think through and --- then?
The waist thing. The whole, swinging over buildings, seeing the street set out below thing? Holly was totally a fan. But the bruises, not so much a fan with the grabbing for short distance flight. She came down on hard boots and with an indrawn breath, and she looked over the edge without a scrap of fear. Rooftops? Were legendary in Jersey and Holly wasn't scared of heights.
"There," she pointed, to a trio of buildings in the gloom of a streetlamp that wasn't lit. "You're not from here originally, are you?"
