Re: carriage house: matt/atticus
[Atticus was lazy. Was true. But he found out during his first encounter, the one with Steve, that he wasn't lazy when it came to this. Knew Matt was older, stronger. Didn't matter. Atticus had tried this Matt's way for months. Had dropped hints. Had talked. Had used words he'd had to dig up with a shovel. Wasn't a man for spoken seduction. Had tried, and had gotten nowhere. Wasn't going to let Matt lead this dance any longer. Undoubtedly, this had something to do with Janus. Was stressed about it. Was thinking about it even now. Thoughts churning in the back of his mind. Loud. Noisy. Was something else too. A new hunger that made him snarl into the kiss when Matt opened his mouth and acknowledged the command.
Had never really considered that Matt might have a bad reaction. Possibly, he should've. Should've remembered, too, that PJ might walk through the door at any moment. Was staying with him now. Didn't think about either of those things.
Matt obeyed, and Atticus allowed himself into Matt's mouth with a demanding lick of tongue. Wasn't a dance. Was take. Hand on the other man's cheek, body leaned toward Matt's. The kiss was teeth. Wasn't light or slow or careful. Was hunger. The only reason it didn't come with a shove was because they were sitting. Still, Atticus' body was imposing somehow. The man wasn't muscled, wasn't tall, but there was something newly capable about him. Had muscled Steve into a corner. Had pinned Janus to a tree. This wasn't new, but the confidence and physical presence was as tangible as sharp musk and want on the air. Didn't do anything more than kiss the man on the couch with him.
