Re: Island Adventure: Abe & Sasha
Abe asked if she was okay, and it took everything in her to figure out how to put words together. Since she wasn't quite willing to put that much effort into talking, there was a rather half-hearted, "Mmhmm," that was interrupted by a needy, melty moan when his kisses grew with even more fervor. That stupid pineapple didn't even bother her anymore, since all that registered was where his fingers roamed over exposed skin. You know, until they weren't exactly fingers anymore, and suddenly he was gone. The gone part bothered her more than she had expected it would.
She reached out for him, of course she reached out for him, and her fingers slid across slick scales in stark contrast to the warm soft flesh that had been there moments before. It was a surprise, but it wasn't anything that repulsed her. On the contrary, Sasha leaned in to kiss him once more if he didn't back away, and if he didn't she would press her lips firmly to his (or what she assumed were his lips, since she wasn't entirely sure in the dark and, you know, fish) guided by the sound of his wavering voice through the dark. Whether he let her kiss him or not, her reply was easy and honest. "You don't freak me out," she spoke with conviction, something deeply impassioned beneath her words, like she was trying to tell him something she didn't know how to piece together just yet. "Go. Get in the water. I'll find the crystal." Her hands spread across wet sand, patting around in rum and cherries to find the pendant that had hung against his chest. She hoped it didn't turn her into a fish. They'd both be in a world of trouble if that happened. At least they'd be together, though.
From the belly of the cave came a rumbling through the passages, like an ancient beast awakening from a long sleep and desperate with hunger. The tide started to rise, faster than it should, swirling and rushing through claustrophobic tight openings in the rocks. Abe would be able to sense the need to cleanse the war and fire from this holy place. Where Ogou Feray went, death and blood followed.
