Re: Island Adventure: Abe & Sasha
Abe could see Sasha's heart in color when he closed his eyes. A mix of beautiful blue and blood red. A good heart cut open with wildness that she was both proud of having and wished she never possessed. No sense of regret about him beyond the inevitable hurt she could predict down the road. Abe didn't care about that. His life was an unknown. His blue skin proof that he had no clue what or who he was before washing up on a Florida shore. He lived for now, that's what they had in common, and as of that very moment they wanted to be with each other.
He laughed when she grabbed him like she owned him. That was something new, not like the curious, tentative kisses most women gave him if they knew his deep dark secret. Abe wrapped his arms around her and pulled her down with him onto the wet sand, kissing her back with matched pressure. He wasn't normally a confrontational or demanding kind of fishman, but Sasha teased it out of him.
