Log: Patrick and PJ Pilfering Who: PJ and Patrick What: Canoe stealing Where: The lake When: Now Why: LOL
[Anyone that knew anything about PJ knew that she was just as likely to show up with her tow truck as she was to show up with the '69 stepside that rolled up to the curb.
The body work hadn't been done yet, and she still had to use a screwdriver to start the thing, but once it was started it ran like it had just come off the line. Loud, rumbly, and every part of the engine and transmission had been delicately loved and rebuilt by the two hands that were on the steering wheel. With a few enhancements imagined by the brain of the person connected to those hands. PJ liked making cars look nice, making them pretty was just the icing cake though. It was what was on the inside that counted. And under the hood was 8 cylinders and nearly 400 cubic inches putting out close to 350 horsepower, which was a nice step up from the 310 she'd been aiming for.
She still wasn't entirely sure why she was going to go steal a canoe, but at least she had the vehicle for the job.
She pulled up to Connie's place, and saw who she assumed was Patrick waiting on the curb as promised, and she pulled up next to him and put the rumbly truck in neutral. For once she wasn't wearing her PJ Uniform of coveralls and work boots - finding them not conducive to canoe stealing in case she got drenched.
But she had on jeans and a plain black teeshirt covered by a black zip up hoodie and a pair of well worn black converse that were going to need some duct tape before too long. After all, they were heisting. Black was important. Right? Her hat wasn't of the cute variety this time around - just a random hat. Her hair pulled through the back of the cap in a ponytail. Yep. She was ready to heist.]
