Re: Call: Damian & Misha
[He listens quiet.] It was strength. It's always strength to listen and do what you think's right, especially when it ain't what's easy. If you'd killed that woman last night, it would've been a bottle talking, not you. You told the bottle no, and that's real impressive. [He's attuned to the sniffling now, and it just makes him worry more.] I know who you are. I don't hate you, and I ain't going to. [He exhales.] I ain't sure how I got here. I don't remember drowning a boy. I don't remember talking to Louis 'bout lust. I don't recall so many things, and I ain't got a clue what I've done during those dark periods. I try not to think on it, but it's getting harder and harder, and I don't feel all that different from last night any. And I know you don't want to go helping folks right now, and I feel real awful making you, but I don't know how to not help when someone asks, even if all I want's to go somewhere with you and be normal a spell.
