The house was less house than lake house, and it was rented for the night by Town Hall. The entertainment, as it was, was presented by the CARNEM Clinic in the Capital, and it was in the tradition of Easter Events in Repose. This year, Town Hall assured, there would be no hallucinations. Instead, a wall of drinks was available upon entering the home. All bottles were labeled, and there were sufficient bottles to go around. However, interactions could be dangerous, and there was only one bottle allowed per town resident, in order to ensure safety. Drinks were handed out by attendants in black and white, and there were bottles of varied colors with burnished liquid within. Residents could ask for a specific drink, or a random one could be provided to them. Bottles were labeled as follows:
The house itself offered multiple places for residents to sit, talk, dance, swim, enjoy. There was no dress code, and there were no invitations required. Beyond the house, the woods had paths lit by torches, and inside a bar served traditional drinks, while a hired orchestra played music suitable for dancing. Deck Chairs looked onto the lake, and a Pool sat serene, warmed, and overlooking pristine glass. Beyond the pool was a Sauna. A Table looked out on the lake, which was illuminated by torches, and the Sitting Area within boasted a corner fire that crackled. On the Lake itself, canoes were moored and equipped with lifejackets. Finger foods were available, as were robes and towels for those taking advantage of the sauna or pool. Festivities would continue, uninterrupted, until first light, at which point the effect of the drinks would dissipate. |
