Re: quicklog: steph/eddie apartment
[Stephanie was getting capital O Old, and so the glasses were needed a lot more frequently than they were back in the day. And she couldn't be bothered half the time with contacts. But that wasn't on her mind when he kissed her back. She hummed, and a warmth spread across her chest and to her fingertips. And then, she chuckled, too.] Cat isn't here. No babysitting tonight. She's probably causing trouble or stealing more diamonds for rent. [She waved to the satin sack filled with three diamonds that she hadn't done anything with yet. Charity most likely -- well, definitely -- but a tiny, selfish part of her wanted to keep it herself. Use it to pay to go back to school. Something about being in a small town and trying to navigate a new relationship with Eddie made her want to do a lot more things right. Things to better herself.
She laughed loudly as he tried to get the glitter out, mussing his hair up.] That Sasha, man. [She hummed too, smoothing out his dark curls to calm them down a little. Her blue eyes met his browns, and everything that she was planning to say to him was right there anyway.] I missed doing it. So that works out well for the both of us, doesn't it? [When she pulled her fingers back, they were covered in glitter. Talking herself out of stealing another kiss, she walked over to the sink to wash her hands. Once they were clean, she reached up to get a simple vase and fill that with some water, too. She placed the vase on the counter, and then she grabbed her glass and walked back over to Eddie.]
Cheers to getting out of there without any Ghostbusters necessary. [She raised her glass, then added with candor:] Cheers to you coming back to me tonight.
