Did she? Of course she did. Her eyes glinted again as that non-smile stayed on her face. So close to an actual expression. She liked his laugh and his smile and his youth. And the way he leaned broad and easy with his back against the tree. It was a quick judgement to make, but she'd known enough people to be able to judge. Hadn't she? She... had. She thought. So she nodded - less a bob of her head, and more a true (human) nod - chin up, chin down. Just once. Yes. She liked him.
She didn't like the thought of him fetching his sister though. "Sss..." She knew the word she wanted. It was right there, behind her teeth, but she couldn't get past the first hiss of air. Unvocalized, just an exhale through her teeth. Brows coming down, frustrated, she smacked her palm hard against the bark of the tree she stood next to. The next sound was forced, her voice, what there was of it, a croak. "Irmã..." It was the right word, but it wasn't. Either way, she shook her head.
