Re: [Woods: Patrick & Raven]
Agitation was relative, man. Patrick wouldn't say he was agitated, but maybe the dude didn't know what agitation really was. He was unsure, and he didn't like being unsure. Uncertainty reminded him of how stupid he felt whenever he looked at Webster's machines. This was something he should be able to work out in epic fashion, but he was pacing, unsure about what to do, and that wasn't agitation, dude. No way, man, Patrick Gunster was not so easily brought low, friends. Patrick Gunster was working this out, dudes. It was just taking a moment.
Then she made that sound, and Patrick broke out in a grin. Man, grinning was good. It felt good, and it looked right on the guy's face. Stressing was not Patrick's best look, but this was. He lit right up, and he laughed. "You understood that, hmmm? Typical chick." He crossed himself in a sarcastic sign of the cross. Bless me Con for I have sinned... But he was grinning, and grinning always made Patrick feel like he could conquer, dudes.
She shook her head, and he mirrored the sharp movement. He wasn't mocking, all right? It could've looked that way, but dude wasn't mocking. He was teasing, which wasn't the same thing at all. "You won't talk to me, but you understand when I say things you don't like, yea? Convenient bullshit, my dude, no offense." Her pointed at her, which wasn't polite, but this wasn't the moment for politeness. "Look, it's monumentally unchivalrous to leave you out here like this. I can't be unchivalrous, lady, you get me? It's a guy thing."
