She shivered under the path along her spine, her shirt thin enough that she could feel the edges of his nails. Somehow, the shiver was different than the shuddering tremble, setting her thoughts onto a different track for a second until his next question came.
"I don't know," she murmured after a moment of thought. "Maybe not herself if she did?" She was quiet again, pressing herself as close to him as she could, the slightest growing curve of her abdomen hard to ignore. "I don't know..." A deep breath (that managed not to shudder quite so badly), and she shook her head against his shoulder. "I can't tell right now."
