Good for her was rooted in the acceptable. What she was allowed. Permitted. That which was so bland that it could not wound anyone but herself and frustrate those around her that wanted her flavored with salt and pepper, onion, garlic, thyme, basil, lime and sugar.

Iris' demons always required knives to be pointed at her, and if she truly believed that Sam would, then he'd be worried. But if it was her fears, her insecurities speaking, that was something else entirely. His fingers scraped up her back. He wasn't worried.
