His easy acceptance didn't surprise her at all. When she finally said something, he didn't usually double-check whether or not she was certain. He believed her, and that was that. Except, she could admit, when what she'd said was due to her mind running away with her in the wrong direction. But something like this? This he accepted. "I know. I do still worry, though." Whispered with a slight smile. "I probably should've stayed in a city, hm? No one would care the way they do here."
Her eyes slipped closed at the press of his lips to her head, and she took a considerable moment to think about it. Minutes ticked by before she took another breath to speak. "I'm pretty sure I am. But I don't want to say it." She swallowed hard and shook her head to his question, but she was still addressing the first with her words. "I don't feel like I can be mad at her about anything. But I am, I think. I'm pretty sure. But it's like I shouldn't be allowed."
