Re: [Capital: Gwen & Flash]
"I considered it," she fibbed about a mummy costume, "but I canvased, and it turns out little old ladies would be totally scared of a mummy helping them cross the street, so I was forced to revise." She laughed when he approximated a mummy walk, and it felt super good to laugh. It was almost as good at screaming at nothing while on the back of his bike, and she bapped his hip with her own, and her smile totally hurt her cheeks. It was super impulsive, but she leaned over, stretched, and kissed his cheek, before returning to the mission at hand.
"They do seem like drugs," she agreed, looking up at Flash with a slack-eyed kind of look that was all lazy and unimpressed rich girl. "Connie, back at home, can totally do better than this stuff, and I bet she has better prices too." There wasn't a hint of indication that she was deliberately trying to get them to show their hand, and she sighed a valley-girl sigh when Flash asked if there wasn't anything exciting. "Babe, we should totally take our money elsewhere."
Money. She pulled a wad of it from her pocket, like it was burning a hole there and she really wanted to spend it. "Unless you can demonstrate something cool," she suggested, and the vendor went and whispered to the other vendor, who then whispered to the other vendor. In the end, the first vendor returned and motioned them to the back of the tent. Gwen put the money in Flash's pocket (that was super deliberate), and she followed.
