[Edwards Island: End]
[Gwen was already on her feet, willing to let Marta stay with Jason's... corpse (which was a totally temporary situation). Finding Flash and MJ was the most important thing at present. Gathering everyone together and bringing them to the docks made total sense, and Gwen had forgotten about the cloaked figure (for the time being). But that forgetfulness was super short-lived, because things occurred, and Gwen wondered when they'd lost control of this entire situation. She realized, in retrospect, that she'd totally done a terrible job of establishing the parameters of this experiment, which she could only blame on her own emotional turmoil during the previous month.
She definitely stared a few moments longer than was necessary (or wise), and then she looked at Felicity and Marta.] Okay. Change of plans. [Whether it was young or old Gwen (in that moment) wasn't clear, but it totally didn't matter, because the decision would've been the same, regardless. Firmly:] We're not splitting up. We're staying together, and we're moving toward the field. We'll intercept MJ and Flash, and we'll return here. By my estimation, there's less than an hour of darkness left. We'll catch the boat, and we'll return for Jason with law enforcement and his father. [It was kind of anti-Gwen to leave without Jason (or his body), but there were five other people to consider. Any delay here put more people in danger. With a nod in the direction of the fields, she began walking.]
