Re: Quicklog: Sasha & Daniel - Masquerade
[Sasha didn't know what Daniel looked like. As far as she was aware, they'd never met before. The forums didn't count in that regard, and she hadn't put pieces together about the train. So there was no familiarity in heavily lined green eyes that fell upon the man before her, but there was interest like a kitten finding a new shiny toy.]
My darling man, look at you. Aren't you and those peepers just aces? [She ran her fingers over his shirt to smooth the fabric down whether it needed it or not, and beamed toothily up into those eerily endless black eyes. They were amazing contacts, she had to admit.] I would have remembered if we'd been introduced. You can call me Helen. [She offered her hand in greeting.
Then because she couldn't ever shut up:] Please tell me your name is not Vladimir. I've never been so tired of a name before in all my life. I've spoken to at least eight Vladimirs here tonight. [She pointed along the wall towards two guys, one in biker-bondage leather and the other covered in corpse-blue body shimmer, that were involved in a rather vehement battle of rock-paper-scissors.] There are two of them now. They are probably fighting over who has proper rights to the name. [An annoyed sigh:] Children.
[All attention turned back to the man, and she exuded warm acceptance in that smile she gave him.] Party or politics? What brings you here this evening, Mister...? [Trailed off to ask his name with raised eyebrows.]
