Re: Felicity H/Gwen R
It's like - Repose being nice means that you can't claim to be all by yourself, with no one around to watch out for you or whatever. There are a ton of people in this town who are all over the forums or whatever, and the drama is great to watch on a slow night when you're low on movie money, but it's not a desolate wasteland, you can't come here to moulder. I mean, I get it. She's wearing her damage on the outside and she wants somebody to notice that it's there, without her having to ask for help or acknowledge she needs it or something. Maybe she's even scared if she does, the damage doesn't fix. But we're all in big girl panties now, and if you don't want to deal with your shit? Telling everyone how awful you are is sort of rule number one in the 'I'm really, really damaged' manual. (There isn't a manual.)
IDK, if I'm being nice? She wants you to know she's starting from a low baseline or whatever, which means low expectations, which means if she manages to act like a normal human, you celebrate it. You're not meant to do anything with it, because it's a defense mechanism that's total bullshit, so if you comment on it? You ruin the illusion that it protects her.
Perry's ethics and I haven't been introduced. Harry on the other hand, got forcefully sedated, dragged off and brainwashed, so I vote his brain-stem activity is totally up for grabs. I'm also unethical, sue me.
