Re: [flash/gwen at the facility]
It did feel like a super long time since they'd done anything but kiss in a rush. The world was always closing in, and she couldn't remember the last time they'd had time to just be together. It was before Halloween. That she was totally sure of, and it seemed like way longer than that. His arms tightened, and she really didn't want that kiss to end. She licked her lips and stared at his mouth for a second, but then she forced herself to pay attention to what he was saying, because this stuff was really important to him.
His leg bounced. His fingers dug into the fabric of her shirt, and she wanted to touch him. She thought that might make things better. But then her fingers were on his jaw, and he was leaning into her touch. The explanation about Reaper was strange, but it was a potential solution. "Can he talk to her, even if he doesn't lecture or give specifics?" She wasn't entirely sure how that would work. But then he smirked, and she sulked at him in a way that was totally human girl and kind of new. "I can handle having my feelings hurt, Flash Madison," she told him with a fair amount of stubborn defiance. But it only lasted for a second, because mostly she wanted to touch his jaw some more. Her fingers brushed back and forth, and she was really trying to think of solutions for his problems. Ultimately, she huffed a little. "It's super hard to resolve issues for someone who doesn't allow their issues to be resolved."
She inched a little closer on his lap, her knees bumping against the back of his seat. She didn't have an answer to his problems (which was totally new for her), so she kissed him instead. Maybe she was distracted by her desire to kiss him again, and this seemed like a logical solution to that particular quandary. She forgot to move her hand from his jaw, but maybe that didn't matter very much.
