Your waya soothing is to take somebody's agency away. We're not talking about the ends here, mi socio, but the means to them. Your way ain't a right way. It's manipulative by pointa fact. For somebody whose had their wants twisted to fit somebody else's, made to engage in things they don't wanna—or maybe they do, but not right now, etc.—, taking away their choice is the problem. I'd rather be scared than have somebody controlling what it is I want and how I react. I can choose a white tonic, can't I? So, that ain't a real equivalence.
