Re: [Mail / Jude C]
[When it comes, this time it's not quick off the mark - Jude's standards, please, being the ones applied by boy, not vampire.]
Daniel,
I don't know what on earth you're referring to with Louis and his plus one, but I think you're right on patience. Maybe it's the Scots in him, I've read a little history. Patience, albeit a little bloody over the centuries. My brother and I aren't under the same roof, so you needn't concern yourself with other creatures offering protection.
I've been thinking over what it must mean to be long-lived, all the things you'd have to have seen along the way. What matters to you now, aside from a harem of people to keep you sustained? Art, music? Anything at all? What do you think about, when you're not thinking about appetite? And what do we mean to you, we people who are so preoccupied with thinking, and things, and feeling?
You know, once upon a time Sasha offered to host a movie in the theater for you. Something old, black and white, classic. When does something turn from old into classic? What makes the difference? When Harp lived at your music store, she played the classics. My kind of classics, not yours. All smoky vocalists.
A word to how you're doing would be nice, and whether you've picked up any loyal friends along the way,
