To what manner of protection do you refer? If you mean mine, surely it is no better or worse than that any other creature might offer under the same roof. Do not imagine I hold Louis' imagined loyalty any higher than yours. He has more than one to speak for, and I expect he would behave differently without the second's shelter (such as I call it). Nor do I think he would be much of a teacher in that regard, though I suppose he does not lack the patience.
