Re: [Friday]
[Misha, he had options. His eyes, brighter than their regular clear blue, were real focused. For all that he was sitting there polite, he wasn't just sitting there. He was thinking. He didn't want to get medded this way any, but the alternative was blinking on out of there. Blinking on out of there meant being a felon. See, Misha, he was born human flesh, and he couldn't change shapes any. He couldn't be nothing but what he was and who he was, and he wanted to live earthbound. That meant he had to do his damn time and get his slate clean, and that meant being here and doing what this doctor said.
He reminded himself this place was a whole lot better than Bellevue. He reminded himself he wanted to stay in this damn little town. He reminded himself that he could do real good at keeping from being arrested once his time here was done. There wasn't even a whole lot of time left, and if the doctors didn't think he was a menace, then he wouldn't need to stay locked up any or anywhere.
And wasn't like he hadn't done this before, been drugged to the Heavens. He hated it, on account of it doing nothing but making him think he was mad as hatters for real, but the alternative was losing his humanity. Misha would do near anything to keep from that happening.
Real slow, he put his arm back down for the nurse. He couldn't keep from glaring some at the doctor, but he complied.]
