Re: Sonrisa: Sam A & Cris M
She wasn't sure if she wanted him to wince or not, yeah? If it would make her feel better or not, him reacting to volume and her flailing hands. The girl didn't even ball fingers into a fist, because she didn't think to. She wasn't violent, despite the shoving she did sometimes, so the fall of her hands was all fucking unfocused. And if there was any new space between them, she closed it. So the shoves were pointless, yeah? Because she still wanted to get closer, and she didn't want to give him space. Nah, this wasn't about space.
But she shoved, flailed, and he stepped closer. Aggressive, maybe, but she just tipped chin defiant and looked up at him. She wasn't fucking scared. Anyone else, and she'd probably crumple into a nonfunctional fucking pile of nothing, but not with him. He made her feel stronger close, and she just shoved again, and him looking down at her with chin raised. Inky blue held his dark gaze while she screamed, and she knew he wasn't going to just let it drop. It wasn't like him.
But he did let her head go, and she thought he was going to step back or retreat or something. Maybe she'd read it wrong, maybe he would leave, and it was a deluge of fucking fear just then, all painted fucking stark on features that were going dangerously fucking pale.
"Don't-" Was all she managed, and then his hands were at her hips, and he was tugging her forward, and she sobbed in fucking relief. Such a fucking idiot, yeah? That was what she was. Him jamming her closer, and him making fucking promises he didn't know he could keep. And she should feel bad for the dealer, yeah? Her brothers dealt, and she dealt before she got hooked. She should feel bad for this kid that she'd called with her fucking fear-jones.
But she was glad. That the kid was scared. That he wouldn't talk. She felt like shit about it, but she was GLAD. Standing on his toes, and maybe she felt a little humanity slip, because she was GLAD.
She shook her head slow now, quiet when she talked, like she hadn't just screamed herself hoarse. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
