Re: RyCorp: Checking on Harry
Gwen bent over her modified iPad, and she swiped and typed and checked the relayed data three times over. It didn't take a lot of time, because she was totally sure of the information the first time around, but there seemed to be no danger in ensuring she was interpreting the data correctly, especially since it was way contradictory. There was too much brain activity, especially given the other readings Perry was picking up during his scan. "Perry, does he seem-?" That was as far as Gwen got, because she heard Harry's voice through Perry's earpiece, and she waited a second. There was no reason, given his increased brain activity, for her to anticipate Harry not recognizing Perry. But that was totally appeared to be happening. Harry's vitals spiked, and Gwen recognized the pattern as one corresponding with fear or extreme anxiety. "Perry he's freaking out." Her use of common terminology was super fluid when she wasn't thinking about it.
No sooner had the words left her mouth, than she heard the facility-wide alarm feeding back in from her connection with Jason. "Shit. Perry, move. Get back in the vent, okay. Did he do something? Did someone see you?" She was watching alert sensors light up on her hack into Jason's equipment, and this wasn't good. "People are heading your way, Perry. Come on. Come on."
She didn't pull her earpiece out, but she opened the vent into her room, and she waited with super obvious impatience. She breathed hard into the earpiece and, assuming Perry started moving, she jumped into the bed to wait. "Come on. Come on. Come on." She heard security approach Jason, and she heard a League sweep begin. This was so bad. This was super, super bad.
