Re: Grant & Cat: General Store
[Cat ordered dessert as often as she could manage it. One good thing about whatever was wrong with her? It meant she stayed lean, and it didn't matter what she ate. It made scaling buildings and jumping off rooftops considerably easier, too, but that wasn't a part of her life at the moment - not for Uncle Sam, not for herself, and she wasn't even itching to slip into something black and slinky, not yet.]
I wouldn't dream of depriving your hungry little citizens.
[As for being out, that didn't even give her a moment's hesitation.] I'm out. Bad break-up, but they know I left, and they let me walk, and no one's come hunting me down yet. [Yet, because that kind of thing always came with an expiration date. What she would do when that date came around, well, she wasn't much of a planner. She'd talk to her gut, when the time came.]
Would you believe it came with a cat pun? Mean-Eyed Cat, past the police station. Completely legitimate, and I mostly get cops, fire, paramedics, town hall. [She chuckled about the leave, the base, the house. Just that, a chuckle.]
