[Unfortunately, one rarely got anything from Grant's appearance once he had managed to assemble himself (ha, ha, ha). There wasn't one more wrinkle at the corner of his eye, or a deeper worry line between his brow; his eyes were still bright and his manner friendly. He put one elbow on the frame of the window (it had taken him this long to get the manual window down) and leaned out at her, now grinning openly.
