Re: quicklog: flash/gwen in orchard
[Maybe she should be totally terrified of the symbiote. After all, she knew precisely how easy it would be for Reaper to kill her. But, weirdly, that was kind of why she wasn't scared of it. She wasn't going to let it control her like that. And, truthfully, she wouldn't mind going to another planet if he did, but she was super sure that wasn't an option, so standing up to Reaper was really the only acceptable course of action.
He shrugged (which she almost questioned), but then he kind of nearly howled about the tree, and she couldn't help but laugh brightly, surprised by it, and the smile was still lingering on her lips when he kissed her, and she totally kissed him back. Tiptoes and leaning against him, and her smile went blushy when he touched her face and said he thought about her. She raised one hand and brushed her fingers at the hair over his forehead, pushing it back a little, and the black trailing down his arms only got a teensy bit of curiously scientific attention.] You're going to need to tell me about the stuff, and I can make notes. [She nodded determinedly, as if it was a done deal, and then she kissed him once, long and slow, before drawing back with even more blush to her cheeks.]
Um... okay. The tree. [She hunted in her bag for the device that would remove the neural net she'd established over the opening, and then she pulled out her new, still-in-testing (but there wasn't any better time than now) RFID clone chip.] Okay, the RFID clone is set to transmit when mine goes out of range, and this- [She pulled out a telemetry device, which she set beside the clone apparatus (which kind of looked like a rebuilt car lock).] -will let us know if it worked after. [She grabbed Flash's hand, and she twisted his fingers with hers.] I was going to use a tether when I went in, but maybe it's better if it's hooked to you. I don't know. What do you think? [She tipped her face up to him, because she totally trusted his opinion.]
