Sam hadn't ever kidnapped anyone, yeah? She'd done a lot of stuff that wasn't exactly normal or legal, but kidnapping wasn't on the list. And this wasn't REAL kidnapping or anything. This was just getting PJ out for some air, and for dogs, and for bike parts. She wasn't sure what was actually WRONG with PJ, but she knew the woman had been in the B&B forever, and that place was old and dusty, yeah? Sam had liked her brief stay there, but no one wanted to be around those old bingo ladies ALL the time, so she figured they were totes doing PJ a solid by kidnapping her for a little while. And, ok, so Sam didn't even know who they were kidnapping her FROM, but it didn't really matter, huh? She knew this was all for shits and giggles, and it wasn't like PJ was a real prisoner or whatever.
But she and Dahlia were taking precautions, ok? Because they were careful kidnappers. So, Cris had taken Sam to borrow a wheelchair from the town's thimble-sized hospital, and Sam was currently pushing said wheelchair toward the back of the B&B, where she'd agreed to meet Dahlia. Ted was on the wheelchairs's seat, totes willing to go along for the ride.
Overalls and a white tank beneath, Sam's hair was in two tangly ponytails, and she smelled of turpentine and cloves. If she was really trying to be sneaky, she would have totes failed based on scent alone, and sneaky wasn't Sam's area of expertise. Sam more hurricane than ninja, huh? Nah, man, so the wheelchair's wheels squeaked and squealed as she pushed the past the carriage house and to the huge fucking garden area behind the old house, and then she sat her ass in the chair, Ted on her lap, and picked at her fingernails as she waited for Dahlia to show. "You have to be social, yeah? No fighting with Dahl's dog," she told the tiny pup on her lap. "And no stealing his toys if he has any, yeah? Joey lets you get away with that, but another dog won't, and he's probs bigger than you."
