Library: Liam & Sasha
There was very little that Liam didn't like about the library. It was peaceful, after all, and he was absolutely surrounded by some of his favourite things in the world: books. Have a bad day? Find a good book to read. Need inspiration? Find a different book to read. Need a recipe to impress your family with? Again, find a book. Well, cookbook.
Some people might have gotten tired by the routine of the place, but not Liam. There were tasks to do every day, books to shelve, donations to sort through, and he might have taken a bit of time every day to just do a little reading when things got quiet and still in the library.
He looked up, though, from the book he was reading at the circulation desk, as the woman approached. Liam could see the uncertainty in her face even before she spoke, but he had to grin as he straightened, tucking an errant lock behind one ear. "You've never checked a book out before?" he asked incredulously, because living without visiting a library was something he could barely comprehend. There wasn't any judgement in his voice, however, just wry amusement, as he slid over to the computer to wake the ancient thing up. "You're quite lucky that I'm here to help, then," he added after a moment, a soft Southern accent tinting his words with warmth. A form was procured from beneath the desk along with a blue Bic pen. "We start by getting you a library card." It was slid over the desk towards her, a tilt to his head as he smiled.
