quicklog: mere/eddie fortune telling
[Tea? Eddie was happy to bring tea. It was late afternoon, almost night and his carnival was slowly waking up. Some girls had dancing appointments with men who just got off work, some of his clowns were practicing their knife juggling and the rest of the crew socialized before getting work done. Lights strung above blinked alive and Eddie breathed in the cold, crisp air.
Around the carnival, he was always dressed nicely and today was no exception. He thought it was a good day for purple so he wore a slightly more casual version of the full on suit he'd don for shows. In his hands were two cups of beautifully British grey tea and in his messenger bag, he brought her two tins worth for later.
Ducking into the tent he gave a warm:] Hello, Meredith. Thank you for having me. [His mind was calm, which was probably a small favor to her.] I brought fresh tea and ah some extra goodies. You know I can't help but go a bit overboard.
