[Cat was trying not to look at the glow. Cat really didn't like that glow. She let her mossy gaze drop to it, and it took her a second to realize Isaiah was asking her something. The lift of her head was slow, sluggish, and perhaps it was an unintentional tell. But she chuckled warmly to cover it up, unworried, unconcerned. What was there to worry about? Nothing, surely, and that was easier to pull off, to believe now that they were in the manor.
