Re: steph/elan: the addams family mansion
[Steph didn't startle when the door opened of what seemed was its own accord, just followed the movement into the foyer beyond. The warmth of the fire was welcoming and appreciated, and she stepped closer to the glow of the fireplace, hands rubbing together to create friction. The chair? Now that startled her a little -- even years later, she still had some trouble with some of his abilities. Moving things. The knowledge of everything. She was never good at that god-like thing, the omnipresence, even with her...feelings for Elan. Whatever those were. Years later, and they still weren't good with that either. It was still a dance, still murky territory where neither of them voiced what was going on, but the writing was in the cards.
She heard her name, and she turned, slow grin crawling up her face.] Hi. [Her voice was warm, too, and trying to mask her excitement to see him finally once again. And yeah, sure, there was that trepidation about seeing him again, but that dissipated for a moment as she looked at him.] Miss me? [Cheeky and with a tilt of her head, her question echoed around the foyer's large emptiness as she crossed her arms, smirk replacing that warm grin.]
