steph/elan: the addams family mansion
[Stephanie didn't wait for a confirmation. She and Elan, they'd always been good at crossing boundaries without asking. Well, he was really good at that. She was just trying to pay him back. Not that he didn't know, of course, and wasn't that an inconvenience of...talking to someone with powers like his? But, both of them had tried to resist it for a long time, until lips crashed together and fingers tangled into hair and arms dragging someone closer. The slide of tongue, the clash of teeth, the hands roaming. And then? Stephanie ran away to Africa. It wasn't because she couldn't face what had happened or admit any sort of feelings. Mostly anyway. No, the grown girl in purple was hurt that her surrogate father was dead, and needed escape. Feelings or not for Elan aside.
She blushed as she thought of that last time they saw each other, of that last time they even spoke, as she drove up the driveway to the lakeside mansion he (and she assumed his sister) lived in. Still in that same beat up sedan, she parked in the front and jogged up the front steps to the door. The frigid air was hitting her quick, and she shivered underneath her leather jacket. A couple of swift knock hopefully conveyed the urgency. Blonde hair spilling over her shoulders and blue eyes bright, she looked and felt healthier since the last time they saw each other.]
