Re: destiny& bro at eddie's carnival
Eddie expected having to explain that the panda wasn't real under hushed tones or maybe a note he'd write out for her, so he was glad to see that wasn't the case. It looked real, but there was something in the adult brain that tipped the viewer off that it wasn't. Perhaps it was unavoidable, but for children? Children could believe a woman in a beautiful dress was a princess. Maybe that was enough for his panda.
The panda wiggled happily as Wyatt approached for playtime and cuddled with great care as the small child jumped on it. Eddie winced, checked a number on his glasses and then said oh good under his breath. "Wasn't sure if it could withstand the weight of a child. So far, so good." Eddie's mouth twitched into a happy smile because he had created something wonderful and so far functional. That was a success in his book.
"It's a robot. Sophisticated AI that I've been working on." Eddie crossed his arms and tilted his head to the side. "I was headed out west with this technology for Disney- imagine their Star Wars land with real ewoks running around- but I haven't been able to leave the circus. Small town has got me by the heart strings."
