Re: destiny& bro at eddie's carnival
Destiny had known her share of performance artists, mostly during those summers she spent back in Romania at her bunic's. She had uncles and cousins who specialized in street performance, and then there were those three weeks she spent in Paris, dating a French mime. She'd been younger then, and it all had seemed so magical, before she knew what real magic was. And maybe naivete didn't have all that much to do with it because Destiny still found it all quite captivating, the showmanship. Even being a witch didn't take the wow-factor away from her. After all, she knew that magic was real, knowing that this place wasn't magic didn't take anything away from her. It was sort of more 'magical' for that reason, she had no understanding of robotics or most technology.
The man's violet glasses made her smile. She didn't quite think them absurd, just eccentric like all of the brightly colored knee-high socks that she liked to wear when customers weren't expected. They seemed to prefer something more in the sheer, pastel category. Destiny wore cheap trash vintage or brightly colored accents whenever she could otherwise. It made her feel like a different person..
Wyatt was already hopping around excitedly at the idea of meeting a panda, he was wrenching on Destiny's arm from the wrist. Eddie offered up the panda for playtime, and Wyatt was staring up at her with all the questions over whether or not it was okay… because he loved animals, and sometimes he played too rough with them until he understood them better…
But Destiny nodded and released him because she couldn't feel the panda, not in her head or in the air between her and it. She knew it wasn't real, although she had no idea it was a robot. She stepped up closer to Eddie, curious and eyes a little narrow while Wyatt jumped happily onto the panda's belly.
